Son of bounty hunter Tion Vhett and Jedi Jana Winters. When he was very young he lived on Concord Dawn manly with his mother. It was not until he was about eleven when he and his mother started to join his father on bounties. Janus has a great dislike for Kyr'tsad (Death Watch) and anyone who helps them. Which is deep seated from him being part of the Vhett clan.

At age fourteen as certain missions started to get more dangerous it was decided by his parents that Janus would stay on Concord Dawn where he would be safe. There he became closer with the other clan members. He became closeted to Jaro son of Cassus because they were the same age and pretty similar. All Mando boys seem like they can relate easily.
