Myrkr System

In 3,963 BBY, Myrkr was the site of fighting during the Mandalorian Wars. Myrkr was settled by Humans circa 300 BBY. During the Clone Wars, many pirates, criminals, and bounty hunters hid on Myrkr because the ysalamiri were avoided by the Jedi and it was a perfect place for a base of operations because the high metal content of the flora confused most sensor equipment. Despite its relatively central location, Myrkr was generally ignored by galactic society during the time of the Galactic Republic and the Galactic Empire. The guardian of Nomi Sunrider's holocron was known to be from the race that inhabited Myrkr.


Myrkr was home to the ysalamiri, creatures which created bubbles which pushed back the Force. This ability evolved to protect them from pack animals called vornskrs, the only known animals to hunt exclusively by sensing the Force. The ysalamiri lived on olbio trees.

Jaccien ordered that specialty workers to pick yslamiri off trees and place them on nutrient sticks. These small lizards would prove vital to the Mandalorian campaign in the future.

=Blood Dragons=
*The Ardent-class frigate exits hyperspace over the planet Myrkr and they all look down upon it as it was the perfect planet not to mention they would be well protected by the mandalorians. So as soon as they are in orbit 4 NR2 Gully jumpers filled with pirates and equipment head on down to the planet it was time to see just what was down there.*

*Everything was going well and things were getting set up nicely on the planet and so the pirates decided to go and inform the mandalorians personally that they had set up a base. Two Rouge-Class Starfighters were sent out to mandalore to do this though they also had some business to finish with them and so it would be better to see them in person. Shortly after launching the starfighters entered hyperspace and were off to mandalore.*

*Three ships exit hypersapce and group up with the Dragon Fang and soon orders were being sent out and the ships started to make changes to them. All fighters left the Dragon Fang and soon all the shuttles from each ship were stored inside of the Dragon Fang. Then the fighters divided up between the other ships.

The Dragon Fang was faster and had stronger shields than any of the other ships and so they planned on using it to spear head towards the Dreadnaught. This plan was most likely a suicide mission but it was the best they could give. Once the troops were on the Dreadnaught it would be all up to them to do their thing which was all they could hope for was that today was their lucky day.*

*Jax had been waiting for information about the battle above Mandalore for some time and when he heard that it had finally come to an end he gave the order for a special group to be put together. The group consisted of some Blood Dragons who had been specially trained in stealth and so their armor had been specially modified to help with that. The group of 10 boarded a VCX-700 that was equipped with a cloaking device and were soon on their way to Mandalore to see what they could find out about the battle.*
