Coruscant (General Area)

Coruscant (pronounced /'kɔɹəsɑnt/), originally called Notron, also known as Imperial Center or the Queen of the Core, was a planet located in the Galactic Core. It was generally agreed that Coruscant was, during most of galactic history, the most politically important world in the galaxy. At various times, it was the capital of the Galactic Republic, the Galactic Empire, the New Republic, the Yuuzhan Vong Empire, the Galactic Alliance, very briefly the Fel Empire, Darth Krayt's Galactic Empire and the Galactic Federation Triumvirate. In controlling Coruscant, these governments controlled most of the galaxy in the process.

Coruscant's hyperspace coordinates were (0,0,0), making it the center of the galaxy, though it was not the galactic center, located in the Deep Core. The hyperspace coordinates inspired the planet's military designation, Triple Zero. A large number of the galaxy's trade routes—including the Perlemian Trade Route, the Corellian Run, the Metellos Trade Route, the Koros Trunk Line, and the Leisure Corridor—went through Coruscant, making it one of the richest worlds in the galaxy.

Over the centuries, Coruscant had developed into an ecumenopolis. The actual planet-wide metropolis of Coruscant was called Galactic City. Under the Galactic Republic, the names Republic City or the City of Spires were also used to reference the city. It was also called Imperial City under the Galactic Empire, and New Republic City under the New Republic. However, in practice, Galactic City and its other names were sometimes applied to the Senate District, the central government center and de facto capital of Coruscant. Under the Yuuzhan Vong, the city and planet were both referred to as Yuuzhan'tar.

*Karica sat in the grand master's chair in the council chambers of the Jedi temple thinking. How would she no, the whole Jedi order move forward. Master Teken was killed defending Ossus from the Empire and now she was named Grand Master. Sure Teken was her master as she was a padawan yet, she recently became a master. She in no way felt worthy.

Sighing she stood and looked out the window. She needed to find a way to end this conflict. She thought for a moment and it hit her from out of no where. The Mandos, if she could strike an alliance with them she could end this war. Picking up her comlink she sent out an order.*

"Ready me a starfighter and a escort we are heading to Mandalore."

[Rhayth]

*It had been a while since Rhayth had been back at the temple and so he had only just heard that Grand Master Teken had been killed. He had also heard his apprentice had been appointed as the new Grand Master and personally he didn't know anyone who would of been a better choice. Though he was sure that the young Karica was probably still just getting use to her new position in the order and so Rhayth had came back to the temple as quickly has he could in order to giver her his full support.

Just a few minutes after Karica had sent out the message Rhayth entered the council chambers. He had been an old friend to most of the masters for many years and had even once been concidered for the position of Battlemaster. Though at the time he had denied the offer as he felt he was not yet ready for such a gift and so he kept his rank of Jedi Knight. So now he had spent years perfecting his use of many weapons and so spent a great amount of time away from the temple but now he felt they could use his help.*

Planning on going to Mandalore to meet with the mandalorians I hear.

*Rhayth stood near the doors of the council chamber with the hood of his robe up causing most of his face to be hidden. Though he had a smile on his face as it was good to see that at least Karica had survived the battle on Ossus. To be honest Rhayth wasn't even sure if she had been there at the same time as her master but he only assumed she had fought next to her master as most apprentices do.*

[Karica Panu]

"Yes."

*Karica said sadly as she turned from the window to look upon Rhayth. In all honesty she was dreading the idea of heading to meet with the Mandos yet it seemed needed.*

"Hopefully they are civil and understand my goal."

*She returned the smile.*

"The only issue is I may have to send someone in my place maybe Tecla Qwii. Force knows how long meeting with them would take and we must strike at the Empire before they break are borders fully. Yet I really hate placing the burden of forming a alliance on anyone else."

[Rhayth]

*Rhayth nodded though he may have only just gotten back to the temple he had heard how things have been going on between the alliance and the empire. He also knew that the mandalorians weren't having such good luck with the Empire either so it seemed they did have something to gain from an alliance. The only problem is that who to send this was not his decision yet he knew he should not go since the mandalorians hate Echani. The only way he would even be a good choice to go would be if he was just and escort to the one making the alliance. Even then things were still unclear as to how they might turn out because it could still be a good thing in the Echani to try and make an alliance with the mandalorians.*

What ever your decision may be I am sure it will be the best. Though you are right from what I have heard the Empire might be on the move. that is why I have come back to the temple now to give my full attention in helping the Jedi in what ever way I can.

[Karica Panu]

*Karica nods and starts to walk towards Rhayth and stops in the middle of the room.*

"Thank you for the kindness yet, don't place to much trust in me. In this day and age we can not plan on anything going well."

*She sighed and looked up at the ceiling.*

"Maybe I should just forget the idea of seeking an ally and have us strike while we still have the Jedi to strike with.

[Rhayth]

*Rhayth went into a moment of silence as he thought about what Karica had said. Sure an alliance would be good but striking could also be a good idea. Then again it was also something to consider that the Jedi were not a army and so they would not be able to take on the Empire alone. If they were to make an attack themselves it would have to be somewhere that they could get in and out safely.*

To strike now may be a mistake unless we talk this over with the senate. Then again if we were to aim only at weakening the Empire instead of a full out assault then we might have a greater chance of success without putting anyone else at risk. There are many choices to consider but still we must be careful with what we decide to do because we will still have to accept the consequences of our actions.

[Karica Panu]

*She nods again and became to bite his nails. Her nerves were getting to her and at this point Rhayth seemed more suited as Grand Master then her.*

"Your right."

*She said softly*

"Yet, the senate has granted me control over a attack force to secure Ossus. The only issue is maybe we should just pull back are borders and evacuate certain systems while we can."

*Karica then brought to life a holo of the galaxy that showed on the ceiling. *

"By pulling back in Galactic East more forces will be brought away from the core of the Empire then if the Mandos allow we can go through their space strike straight through at Yavin and cut the Empire in half. Yavin then can serve as the official base against the Empire. And I am sure we can evacuate the moon of the little Ewoks so no civilians have to be harmed. "

[Rhayth]

*Again Rhayth was silent for a while as he looked at the map of the galaxy and thought about Karica's plan. It wasn't a bad plan but then they would have to consider that by going straight for Yavin they would be surrounded by the Empire on all sides. As much as the Ewoks would make good allies in this it just might not be worth the risk. Then Ossus was close to the border between the Alliance and the Empire so it was obvious why it was being attacked but getting out of there may be a good idea or a costly one.

Your plans is good and yet we may gain some good allies out of it since the Ewoks have been known to have helped us before. The only problem with it is that by going straight o Yavin we would be surrounded by the Empire. The only closest people to help us would be the mandalorians and yet we aren't even sure if they would be willing to help us.

[Karica Panu]

*The Stand In Grand Master tilted her head in taught.*

"Well. . . what if we sneak through Mandalorian space. We do have the ability to do so. "

*She said with a frown. It was dishonorable yet would get the job done.*

[Rhayth]

Oh I don't think the mandalorians would be a problem since we could easily pass through their space without being detected. The only problem i see is that by trying to use Yavin as a base for combating the Empire we would strand anyone who is there in the middle of enemy territory.

*Rhayth walked into the middle of the room with Karica and pulled down his hood. He then began to trace out what sections of space the Empire controlled and what parts they controlled.*

There are many planets between Yavin and the part of the galaxy that we control. Anyone of those planets could possibly have a fleet lying in wait to attack. So to get more people to Yavin we would have to continue to go through Mandalorian space and they would eventually catch on to it if we didn't negotiate with them first. So if we even attacked Yavin we could be surrounded by the enemy without a way to escape even into mandalorian space. We should press forward first maybe from Ossus if we can take it back and the move into the Empire then from mandalorian space we could strike from behind as attack moving our forces closer to Yavin. Once we have gained enough ground it could be possible to take Yavin without the Mandalorians help. Though what we could do is sneak a small force onto Yavin and use it as a base to spy on the Empire and should things go bad we could retreat into mandalorian space.

[Karica Panu]

*Karica thought over their options. All seemed to have pros and cons. *

"We will strike from Ossus then and go after Rhen Var. Strike fast and hard then move on we don't have the time of resources to set up bases. The fleet will then hit Felucia, Korriban, Ziost and then head to Bonadan where he will set up a base. Yes this is a lot of planets and a lot of space to cover and a group of shuttles will have to travel no far behind for once we reach Bonadan they can set up a base there. As for all the others planets we will simply have to bomb them and move on."

*She said with a look of disgust.*

"We will use the bulk of the whole alliance fleet and in this swift movement cripple the Empire. I just wish so many did not have to die to reach this goal."

[Rhayth]

* Rhayth nodded because now they were getting somewhere and had a plan forming though one thing he knew is that they should still try to make an alliance with the mandos for their attack into imperial space would go more smoothly with the mandalorians help.*

It is a fine plan but I also feel we should send someone to Mandalore to seek help from the mandalorians. In this fight we should not underestimate the Empire or we could suffer a loss like we did so many years ago to Palpatine and Darth Vader.*

[Karica Panu]

*Karica nods. *

"Yes, the admirals can take the battle plan from here."

*She said said taking a recorder from one of the walls the was always on and handed it to a protocol droid.*

"Make sure they follow all this says."

*She then looked back at Rhayth*

"All we can go visit the Mandos."

[Rhayth]

Very well master and I would be happy to go with you if you would like.

*Just from old Echani and mando rivalry Rhayth naturally didn't trust the mandalorian and so if the Grand Master were to go there he would like to come with her. Though he knew better than to let his mistrust of the mandalorians get in the way of doing what was right and so he knew they needed to form an alliance with the mandos.*

"Good, we should head out now then. The sooner we go the better."

*She said and started to head towards the Hanger.*

"Should we use simply starfighters or bring more Jedi with us?"

*She almost requested the info. She knew little about the Mandos so was unsure on how to act around them.*

[Rhayth]

*Rhayth began to follow her and he wasn't all to sure on how to proceed with this but yet it would be wise to maybe bring at least a few more Jedi though not because of the mandos.*

We can take my ship as it should be in the hangar and you could bring more in case of an attack on Mandalore from the Empire or at least one more for your own protection.*

*Personally he found it a but odd saying that the Grand Master needed protection yet he couldn't help but feel that way. One had already died and so they would have to be careful now as they went. For all he knew the Empire could be planning an attack against them right now and they could be walking right into it.*

[Karica Panu]

*As they walked Grand Master Panu took out her comlink and called for two padawans. Snit Opun a orange skinned Twi'lek female and Decken Norica and brown hair, tanned skinned human male. They were both 14. The two bowed as they entered the hanger, they were awaiting the masters arrivals. *

"I guess we are all set to head out."

*She said and turned back to the padawans would were clearly unease heading to a place so close to imperial space.*

[Rhayth]

*Rhayth nodded as he walked over to his ship and gestured of the Grand Master and the two padawans to get on.*

Here it is the Dragon Striker fully armed and capable for just about anything except stealth missions. It has the speed and fire power to out maneuver even star fighters.

*As soon as he finished talking Rhayth himself went aboard his ship and walked to the cockpit then sat down in the pilot's chair and began to start up the ship preparing it for take off.*

*The three entered the ship.*

"As long as a ship flies is all the matters beyond that it is all on the pilot and I trust you greatly."

*She said with a smile. Her words were true, if piloted right a starfighter can beat a star destroyer. Hey a X-wing beat a Death Star anything can happen with the force. *

[Rhayth]

*As soon as everyone was on board Rhayth closed the landing ramp and began to hit a few switches and the ship slowly began to lift off of the ground. He then began to accelerate the ship forward and eventually they shot out of the hangar bay and went straight for orbit. Once there Rhayth flew the Dragon Striker I safe distance away from the planet and then activated the hyperdrive and so now they were on their way towards Mandalore.*

*Final Line Fleet defends the capital of the Galactic Alliance.*

*The Tartan-class corvette enters orbit and heads past of the Final Line fleet which had a very large shadow over the planet. The corvette lands at a hanger complex and they are moved to a luxury enclose limo. No one needed to see Zeph as he was still sleeping. The limo then heads to the families' penthouse.*

*Zeph slowed down the speeder and motioned to a nearby building.
